Back Home.
I can still hear the words clear as day even though my Uncle Al has been gone for while. Probably because he'd been saying it to me since I left.
"Dacia Rose, when ya movin' back home and startin' your "choir-practor" office?" in his little redneck accent he had about him.
I'd laugh and tell him, "Some day", because that's always been the plan.
I've dreamt of opening an office where my kids can walk to after school, with windows painted in hometown spirit during homecoming, and my business name on the back of a little league shirt, worn by a kid whose parent used to be a classmate.
Back Home.
Just the words can bring peace to some, a smile, and memories flooding in.
Oftentimes, it's where people go when they need answers. Familiarity and established roots can be healing. They'll help you not only grow, but flourish.
My goal is to bring you that same feeling when you walk in and out of my office doors.

Hi guys! Happy you're here! My name is Dacia Ash, the chiropractor and owner of Back Home Chiropractic and Wellness. I am originally from Waukon, IA and recently moved back to the area. For the past 15 years Cedar Rapids, IA has been home to my family and me. My husband, Sam Ash, graduated from Postville High School and we are SO excited to be back in the area. We have spent the last 3 months getting the office feeling like home and are excited for you guys to see it.
Here's a bit of information about me:
Family is #1 priority for me - Sam and I have 3 kids, Tegan, Walker, and Lincoln. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2014, majoring in Biology. I am huge Iowa Hawkeyes sports fan!! I love listening to live music, definitely a '90s country girl. In 2022, I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic- the founding school!! After graduation I worked in Cedar Rapids in a multi-doc office. I have my Webster Certificate, chiropractic technique specific for pregnancy- I love working with this population, along with pediatrics!
I'm thrilled to bring Chiropractic care back to Postville and I can't wait to meet all of you!
